Rosemary is typically a meditranean herb, but grows happily in our Welsh polytunnels! One of history's favourite herbs, rosemary has been prevalent since the times of the Ancient Greeks! It battles skin discomfort, repeatedly being shown to alleviate skin dryness and itchiness. Famous as a mood booster, rosemary causes feelings of alertness and improved mood. It also supports healthy circulation, keeping skin smooth and soft.
 
Lemongrass is fast becoming the modern "in" herb. This is largely due to the way it calms the senses - according to a 2011 study published in Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine, the eugenol that’s in lemongrass oil impacts neurotransmitter serotonin and blood-platelet action. Both of these cause headaches. It also combats bacteria and eases inflammation. Win-win!
